An 800-acre integrated city located in Subang Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia is called Sunway City, often known as Bandar Sunway. This township bears the name of the company that built it, Sunway Group, which also bears the name of a Selangor suburb, Sungai Way. The theme park Sunway Lagoon, located in the heart of Sunway, features a variety of themed parks with some of the biggest rides in Malaysia as well as a sizable water park. The first themed shopping and entertainment mall in Malaysia, Sunway Pyramid, originally opened its doors in July 1997, designed with the Egyptian-inspired Pyramid with the lion "standing guard". Beside Bandar Sunway are popular places like Subang Jaya, Kelana Jaya, and Puchong.
